Hackensack Baseball Diamond
(also nearby: Hackensack Ice Rink, Community Center, and Walking Park)
Welcome to the Hackensack baseball diamond! While the city only has a single diamond, it is commonly used for community softball and as an extra field for little league games for the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley school district. Nearby is the Community Center, which hosts various small concerts such as Josh Duffee's Big Band in the summer and community dodgeball and basketball games in the winter. It is also open to the public for general recreation with advance notice. In addition, for those that prefer the winter months, the hockey rink is well-cared for and the warming house is open late at night. Finally, the new Hackensack Walking Park to the east contains various trails and benches perfect for recreation and exercise.
