84 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

msrubble: I went out there with cache repair kit, but couldn't find cache to repair. Not in its spot, not where it might naturally migrate nearby. Not near the right beacon, as best as I could tell--this is not the ideal time of year to look (cough... undergrowth). Not on the other side of the trail.

So, time to say farewell to an average cache hide.

Thanks to all the visitors.

Geocache Description:

Easy-to-find, winter-friendly traditional cache along the Lake Wobegon Trail.

Easy cache may be just the thing for snowmobilers or bicyclists. On foot, it will take some time to get to, since it is more than 3/4 mile one way from the nearest road. It is paved trail almost all the way to the cache.

I recommend parking west of the intersection of Collegeville Road and Old Collegeville Road. You can get to Collegeville Road from County Road 75, if coming from the east. If coming from the west, get off I-94 at County Road 159 (the St. John's exit), go north, and take a right.

You will see the beacon from afar.

You are seeking a small, poorly-camouflaged plastic container, big enough for geocoins and small swag items or travel bugs.
