Welcome to the Hackensack Hillcrest Cemetery and Veterans Memorial. The cemetery is one of two cemeteries in the Hackensack area (the Finnelly Cemetery, northeast of Hackensack, contains approximately 30 gravestones for some of the very first Hackensack residents between 1900 and 1923 and is closed for burials). Please be respectful as you visit this quiet location south of Hackensack on Cemetery Road.
The cemetery, created in October 1965, contains approximately 660 gravestones. The area is a very well-cared-for and respected part of the community and has an All-Veterans Memorial. Memorial and Veterans Day services are held here by the Hackensack American Leigon Post 202.
