"Susi" is the Finnish word for wolf. The Finnish people and wolves have a long history in the Ely area. If you have a chance to learn about the wolves of the area and the history of them please do. Wolves are a very interesting and somewhat misunderstood animal. Visit the many nearby Ely historical sites and museum to learn about the rich history of the Ely area.
