Located on the Lake Country Scenic Byway in Northern Minnesota, Nevis is an active little city of just over 400 residents. Nevis offers several public recreational facilities such as a free public beach, park, boat ramp and public access to Lake Belle Taine. Annual summer events such as: The Gene Cirks Memorial Fishing Tournament, Muskie Days, the Pig Races, and the Northwoods Triathlon provide the perfect reason to bring family and friends to the area. Muskie Park contains two playgrounds, a pavilion, public parking for access to the Heartland Trail, and (of course) the World's Largest Tiger Muskie. The Heartland Trail conveniently intersects most of the park, making it a popular rest stop for bikers.
