Finding this cache involves an easy hike along a level trail, with a little bushwhacking at the end. You can follow the wide, mowed trail most of the way to the cache. Watch your step--there may be gopher holes on the trail.
The trail is on the edge of a prairie restoration project. Near dusk, it can be a good place for bird-watching.
Because of some tall vegetation and thorny plants in the vicinity of the cache, I would not recommend this for small children.
You are looking for a plastic container. It is big enough to hold most travel bugs.
This cache should be winter-friendly.
Please put the cache back the way you found it, to lessen the chance of catching the attention of non-geocachers. Thanks.
