Geocache Description:

Minnesota Lore Galore!

This Wherigo will bring you through a little known woods in Minnetonka. Please park at the parking coordinates at the North end of the woods, there is an unmarked trail head near the posted coordinates. Do not attempt to park and enter from the West. The cartridge functions much like the classic game "Guess Who." The goal is to use yes and no questions to narrow down a list of characters to just one. In this case, the questions are provided for you, but you must chose which of those questions to ask. Asking more questions that you have too won't hurt you, it will just take more time. There are 20 characters on your original suspect list, each has sample gps coordinates below them. Only one of the characters is the one you are looking for, likewise the coordinates below that character are the only coordinates that will bring you to a cache. Proivided below are all the tools you will need to play the cartridge. The final is a peanut butter jar filled with tradeables. Thanks for finding!

Things You Will Need

The Cartridge: The link is available here.

The Character List: HAVE THE FOLLOWING PHOTO WITH YOU! It will NOT be provided in the cartridge. You will need this to eliminate characters as you go. In case you don't recognize them all: from left to right - 1st Row: Jolly Green Giant, Nordey, Rockey, Bullwinkle, and Crunch; 2nd Row: Prowl, Fairchild, the Kick mascot, Snoopy, and Woodstock; 3rd Row: Pillsburry Doughboy, Babe the Blue Ox, Paul Bunyan, Minnie and Paul, and TC; 4th Row: Vicktor, Maizey, Goldey, Betty Crocker, and Elmer.

The List of Questions:These are in the cartridge already, but will be a little tough to navigate between questions in the field. Each zone is labeled as "Question #" (so Question 1, 2, 3...) and will present you with the option to ask a question when you enter the zone. Each zone has a corresponding question in it for you to ask. The questions are pre-written, but each question you chose to ask will help you narrow the list of characters down, no matter the order you chose to go in. Here is the key to the pre-written questions:

Question 1: Does this character have blue eyes?
Question 2: Is this character wearing a hat?
Question 3: Does this character have a beard or a mustache (fur doesn't count)?
Question 4: Do the character's teeth show in the photo?

Question 5: Does this character have a red shirt?
Question 6: Is this character a mammal?
Question 7: Does this character have horns/antlers?

Question 8: Is this character wearing/carrying leaves?
Question 9: Does this character have a prominent proboscis?
Question 10: Is this character's primary purpose to promote something edible?
Question 11: Is this character's mouth open in the photo provided?
Question 12:
Was this character created before this century?
Question 13: Can you see the character's ears in the photo provided?
Question 14: Does this character represent a sports team?
Question 15: Is this character commonly associated with another character on the chart?

Again, you don't need to have this list with you, but this may help you chose your route from the trail head.

As usual, have fun, be safe, and thanks for finding another one of our caches!
