This cache is placed outside the Martin Luther King Center, which is next door to the Rondo Education Center. If you are not familiar with the Rondo neighborhood and its history, you should read up on it. There is also a fantastic display across from the library in the school. This park and the school next door will always be special to me, as I was a student at Capitol Hill Jr. High, and later became a teacher there. I have worked at Capitol Hill for 14 years, but this is my last year as I’m headed for new adventures. I placed this cache with a group of students as part of a field trip. My students had a great day caching and disc golfing at Kaposia where we found some great caches and hid another one. It was a great day, and some of the kids really got into caching. I Decided to place this cache as a farewell and tribute to the Capitol Hill community, hoping that students enjoy finding it in the future. I'm going to miss this place.
