━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

This cache was placed with permission at Cornucopia, a student-run organic garden located on the southeast corner of Concordia's campus. As always, stealth will be a plus and go a long way to keep this geocache placement a secret.

The garden was established in the spring of 2010 as a joint effort by the Student Environmental Alliance and faculty member Gretchen Harvey. Students spearheaded the project out of a desire to teach the campus community and greater Fargo-Moorhead community about sustainable gardening and the benefits of locally grown food. In 2015, Concordia partnered with the Rural Renewable Energy Alliance to install an innovative High Tunnel facility to extend the garden's growing season. If you're interested in learning more, visit the informational sign located near the posted coordinates.

While you're here, take some time to admire the nearby "Crazy Tree" named for its wild branches and interesting shape. If you're a Fargo-Moorhead resident, Cobber alum, or friend of this legendary tree - I'd love to hear any memories you might have of time spent beneath its branches.

Special thanks to my friends Carrie Peterson (muggle) and Jeff Offutt (m&m_O) for collaborating to create this geocache. Note: the manor in which the cache was installed was approved by the staff at Concordia College Facilities Management.
