This is a very unique cache, that will likely require teamwork with another cacher in Germany. 

(The alternate way might be flying to Germany and back.)

 

The Posted Coordinates take you to the St. Croix Boomsite Wayside, next to the St. Croix River.   

Stage 2 is located in Neuss, Germany, next to the Rhine River. 

The Final Stage is located a short drive from the Posted Coordinates.

 

There is a "sister" cache in Germany, located very near to Stage 2 of this cache.  It is Two Rivers Multi-Cache - GERMANY.

 

In order to complete this cache, you will need to contact a cacher in Germany, most likely by logging a note on the Two Rivers Multi-Cache - GERMANY, asking for help.  You will find that Stage 2 of the Two Rivers Multi-Cache - GERMANY is located very near the Posted Coordinates of this cache.  You will need to gather information for the person working on Two Rivers Multi-Cache - GERMANY Stage 2, and in exchange, they can gather information at Two Rivers Multi-Cache - USA Stage 2 for you.

 

Caches can be logged online as "Found" after the geocacher has visited the coordinates and signed the logbook.

 

In your "Found" log, please consider giving a "thanks" by Geocaching Username, to the Geocacher who helped you at Stage 2 in Germany.

 

PLEASE DO NOT POST COORDINATES OR INFORMATION ON EITHER CACHE PAGE. 

The log note should only be to make contact with another cacher and then use Geocaching Messaging to complete the information exchange.

 

Questions at Stage 2 (You will need info from cacher in Germany)

Stage 2 will take you to an information sign, near the confluence of the Rhine River and Erft River.  Use this sign to solve for the keyword.  The word will be the answers strung together ABCDEFG with no spaces or punctuation.

A:  What type of wood (in German) is named on the plaque located on the right post?

B:  What is the year stamped on the plaque located on the right post? 

C:  Count the number of cities shown on the map side (left) of the information board. (just the cities names with the same smaller font size; do not count both cities under the coat of arms).

D:  What is the first letter of the area (Ortschaft) of Nettersheim in which the spring of the river Erft is located?  FIRST LETTER ONLY.

E:  What is the length of the bike path on the paragraph on the information board?  (numbers only)

F:  What is the the color of the animal (in English) on the left post?  

G:  What is the the color of the Erft River (in English) in its 3 word description on the information board?
