Straight forward two stage Multi, designed for you to experience this area. NOTE: In finding both stages there is no reason for your feet to leave the walking surface. Please stay on the paths at all times.
Regardless of your political leanings, this is an impressive place. I myself have driven by here many times, but never stopped until recently. When I did I knew there should be a cache here so more people can see the area.
Less than a half mile from the 2002 plane crash that took the lives of Paul and Sheila Wellstone, their daughter Marcia Markuson Wellstone, and Tom Lapic, Will McLaughlin, and Mary McEvoy, is a memorial and historic site to honor their memories.
Note the trails were paved with taconite tailings, take some time and to walk around and truly experience this area.
