A multi-cache series in the vicinity of Hackhurst Downs. The published coordinates are for the nearest pub (The Compasses). This has a nice garden, good food and has its own on-site brewery (producing 3 decent beers). Their carpark might be an alternative place to park while doing the series.
The cache requires you to walk around the beautiful nature reserve of Hackhurst Downs, which has lovely views.
You should already have found Hackhurst Hack: View (GC11TY6). There is also a question to answer. What's buried there? The answer is a 7-letter word (and I'm not referring to the cache). Add up the number values of the letters in the 7-letter word (using A=1, B=2 etc). This should give you a final 2-digit number, km.
Also take the lower of the 2 telephone numbers you collected on the way to Hackhurst Hack: View. Discard the first zero and then you have a 10-digit number. Each digit is represented by the letters below:

Please replace the cache exactly as you found it and make sure the lid is on firmly.
