Punssivuoren huipulle johtaa polku joka voi olla sateella liukas.
Huipulta voi nähdä Evon metsäopiston joka on Suomen vanhin
metsäopisto. (Opisto näkyy paremmin rannalta :D) Sieltä valmistuu
joka vuosi Metsätalous insinöörejä ja Metsureita.
Ennen opiston perustamista alueen
metsät olivat huonossa kunnossa. Ympäristön asukkaat käyttivät
kruununpuiston metsiä häikäilemättä hyväkseen ja myös metsäpaloja
syttyi. Opiston perustamisen jälkeen metsänhoito muuttui
suunnitelmallisemmaksi ja Punssivuorelle pystytettiin vartiotorni,
jotta metsäpalot havaittaisiin ajoissa. Nykyään vartiotornia ei ole
enää.

There is a path which lead at the top of the Punssivuori. Path is
probably slippery when it is raining. At the top of the Punssivuori
you can see Evo ranger school which is Finlands oldest ranger
school. (You can see ranger school better at lakeside :D) Every
year there graduated forestry engineers and timberjacks.
Before foundation of the academy, forest areas was bad shape.
Neighborhood uses unscrupulously the crowns parkland exploitation
and thats why many forest fires developed. When academy started
operation forestry changed more systematic and top of the
Punssivuori was built watchtower. Watchtower was built because
there forest fires can be spotted more earlier. Nowadays there is
no more wachtower.
