Kätkö on 2-osainen multikätkö. Loppupiste sijaitsee Kangasalla Ponsan mahtavissa kalliomaisemissa. Matkaa lähtöpisteeltä loppupisteelle on n. 2 km
This is a multi-cache with two parts. The final cache is located in the spectacular cliffs of Ponsa. Distance from the start to the end is about 2 km.
Ponsan Vuorijärvi on pieni lampi ylhäällä kallioiden keskellä. Lampi on Tampereen Yliopiston koevesi, joten kalastus lammella on kielletty.
Ponsan maasto on yksi hienoimmista suunnistusmaastoista Hämeessä. Tästä syystä lähtöpisteeltä löytyy loppukoordinaattien lisäksi alueen suunnistuskartta, johon rastiväli on merkitty. Voit valita reitin joko suoraan suunnistaen / gepsillä tai etsien mahdollisen helpomman reitinvalinnan. Suoraan mentäessä maastoluokitus on vähintään 4! Kartoista yksi säänkestävälle materiaalille painettu, sen toivon palautuvan lähtöpisteelle. Muista kartoista voit haluttaessa pitää yhden.
MUISTA LIIKKUA KARTAN KANSSA MAASTOA KUNNIOITTAEN, pellot ja pihapiirit kiertäen, yms. Tämä siksi, että me kätköilijät ja suunnistajat saisimme jatkossakin maastossa liikkua!

Lähtöpisteellä pysäköi auto niin, että kulku ketjulla suljetulle tielle ei esty! (jos ketju on auki, niin ei kannata ajaa pidemmälle; pellolta tuleva maajussi sulkee ketjun ja autosi jää jumiin!)

Mountain Lake of Ponsa (Ponsan Vuorijärvi) is a small pond high up in the middle of the cliffs. It is test waters for The University of Tampere and fishing is not allowed.
Ponsa is one of the finest orienteering areas in Häme. At the starting point you will find both the end co-ordinates and an orienteering map with distances between the points.
You can either follow your GPSr and go straight, or look for the easiest route. If you go straight, the terrain rating is at least 4! One of the maps is water-proof, hopefully it will get returned to the start. If you want, you can keep one of the other maps. Please use the maps and respect the environment by staying off private yards and fields. This is so that we may continue geocaching and orienteering in this area.
At the start please park your car so that you don't block access to the road behind the chain. Should the gate be open, do not continue any further past it: the farmer will close it and lock your car in.
