Hautajärven vaarat ovat Rokuan vaarojen alku (loppu) kohtia.
Vaarojen vaellus sisältää useamman kätkön. Maasto on matalia vaarajonoja jäkäläkangas maastossa. Kätköille pääsee metsäteitä tai polkuja pitkin. Polut kulkevat vaarojen laella ja suosittelen käyttämään niitä, vaikka kätkölle pääsee kyllä linnuntietäkin. Maasto ja maisemat ovat näkemisen arvoiset. Vuodenajat vaikuttavat näkymiin paljon.
Toinen kätkö on piilotettuna mäntyyn, joka ei tiedä mihin suuntaan se haluaisi kasvaa.
Myöhemmin olen saanut kuulla että tämä on "karhun raapima" puu.
Purkki on pieni pakasterasia.
Paikalle pääsee Neittäväntieltä. Jos lunta on paljon et ehkä pääse ajamaan tuonne asti vaan joudut jättämään auton kauemmas.
Pyöräilijöille ja miksei myös kävelijöille vihjeeksi; jos lähdet tälle kätkölle Kelo kätköltä (arkistoitu), suuntaa kaakkoon vaarajonon alkuun ja pyöräile maisemapolkua pitkin kätkön läheisyyteen.
Jos tulet Hiekkamontulta Santamäestä, pyöräile ison sähkölinjan vieressä kulkevaa moottorikelkkareittiä etelään päin viimeisen vaaran laelle ja siitä itää kohti alkavaa polkua pitkin kätkön läheisyyteen.

The fells of Hautajärvi are the beginning or ending points of the fells of Rokua. You can seek the caches by walk, bike, car, skies and some of them with the snowmobile. The Vaarojen vaellus (The wandering of the fells) includes several caches. The terrain is low line of fells and boreal forest with lichen. You can reach the caches using small forest roads and paths. Those paths are situated on the top of the fells and I recommend use them. Of course you can go to the cache place as the crow files. The terrain and the sceneries are worth of seeing. The time of year has a huge effect on the sceneries. This second cache has been hided to the pine which doesn’t know to which direction it wants to grow. The cache box is a small plastic box. You can approach the cache from the road Neittäväntie. If there are lots of snow you are not able to drive near the cache place. In this case you had to park your car a little further from the cache. A small hint to the bikers and walkers: If you are on the Kelo cache aim your journey to the south-east to the beginning of the landscape path and walk or bike along it close to the cache. If you are coming from the Hiekkamonttu of Santamälki bike along the snowmobile route near the big power line to the south.When you are on the top of the last fell aim your journey to the east where you can find a path which passes the cache location.
