Geocache Description:

A gentle stroll onto an area we knew in our youth as the Scammells, named after the trucks that once drove in. There's no sign of this activity anymore and I can't even remember what they were doing here. During a geographical field lesson whilst at Junior school we were told that this area was once a beach (some time ago one assumes!) - so I wonder if the trucks were collecting aggregate?

The coordinates above are not for the cache but will lead you onto the Scammells.

In order to find the cache you will need to solve the Sudoku puzzle found below, replace the letters with the corresponding numbers in the solution..N 51° 24.ABC E 000° 25.DEF.

Be careful on your approach, the ground is loose and slippery, I'd advise NOT going in from above. There are plenty of dog walkers and ramblers in the area so be stealthy or you could find youself looking quite odd.

A fairly small tupperware type, snap and lock tub that contained, when placed, the following:
log book
pen
stash card
FTF badge
NSPCC full stop pin badge
mini scanning radio
wine bottle stopper
top trumps (LOTR) .

A nod to Ian Too for pinching one of his ideas.
