Kätkön lähettyviltä on hienot näköalat lähes kaikkiin ilmansuuntiin. Erityisen näkemisen arvosta on näkymä itään päin Hietasen sataman autokentille. Saattaapi oikealla ajoituksella nähdä jotain liikettä paloasemallakin.
Sodan aikana tällä samaisella mäellä toimi raskas ilmatorjuntapatteri sekä toinen Kotkan saksalaista perua olleista Irja tulenjohtotutkista.
Kätkölle näyttää kartan mukaan menevän tie, mutta se on suljettu puomilla. Teoriassa kätkölle pääsee pyörätuolilla, mutta mäessä on tekemistä pyörälläkin.
There is nice scenic view to almost any direction from cache site. Especially storage areas for cars on their way to Russia is worth to see.
During WW2 there were heavy anti-aircraft unit and one of two "Irja" fire directing radar in Kotka located somewhere near this cache.
Road leading to cache is blocked with bar. In theory it is possible to find cache with wheelchair, but road is pretty steep and it is heavy even with bike.
