Uimaharjun jugendtyylisen rautatieaseman on suunnitellut Thure Hellström. Asema rakennettiin Kontiolahden rautatieaseman piirustusten mukaan, mutta peilikuvana ja pienempänä. Asema on Museoviraston suojeluohjelmassa.

The railway station of Uimaharju is built as jugend style by Thure Hellström. The station is similar like Kontiolahti´s station, but smaller and mirror imaged. Station is protected by The National Board of Antiquities.
