Kätkö uuden Ylöjärveläisen maanmerkin liepeillä. A cache at the new lanmark of Ylöjärvi.
Kokonaan puinen, kahden kaaren silta on Tampereen läntisen kehätien kakkosvaiheen näyttävin yksityiskohta.
Siltakaaret painavat 15 tonnia ja ne ovat 31 metriä pitkiä ja kahdeksan metriä korkeita. Silta on valmistettu kotimaisesta männystä. Sillan kantavat rakenteet on liimauksen jälkeen kyllästetty kreosoottiöljyllä, joka estää puun kosteuselämisen ja lisää puun ikää.
Silta on osa ylöjärven harjualueen ulkoilureittiä.

This full wooden bridge is the most spectacular landmark of the new western ring road of Tampere. Each arc of the bridge is 31 meters long and weights about 15 tons. The whole bridge is constructed of wood and is treated with kreosit oil to lenghten the expected lifetime of the bridge.
The bridge is a part of the Ylöjärvi ridge outing route.
