[FIN] Jouhenjärven luola on muutaman metrin syvyinen kapea luola kallioseinämässä järven idänpuoleisen rannan tuntumassa.
Helpoimmin luolalle pääsee ajamalla autolla järven länsipuolella kulkevan metsätien päähän (waypoint P1), josta on n. 400 m poluton kävelytaival luolalle järven pohjoispää kiertäen. Tosin viimeiset 800 m metsätiestä on vain kohtalaisessa kunnossa, mutta reippaan asenteen omaava kuski pääsee helpohkosti perille henkilöautollakin...
Toinen ja autolle mukavampi mahdollisuus on pysäköidä auto metsätien varteen (waypoint P2), josta on puolen kilometrin poluton taival luolalle Jouhenjärven itärantaa myöten. Metsätieltä järven eteläpäähän lähtee heikko kulku-ura kohdasta waypoint P3. Märällä kelillä rannan sammaleiset kalliot voivat olla liukkaita eli varovaisuutta kannattaa siis noudattaa.
Huom! Kesäaikaan maastossa on paljon metsälintujen pesiä ja poikueita eli mahdolliset geokoirat on pidettävä kiinni!!!
Talvella kätkölle johtavat tiet ovat ummessa, joten kyseessä on selkeästi sulan maan ajan kätkö.
[ENG] Jouhenjärvi cave is a little cave near the eastern shore of lake Jouhenjärvi. Getting to the cave requires some earlier experience in hiking and navigating in the forest.
The best way to get near the cache is drive to the end of a small forest road west of the lake (waypoint P1). The last 800 m of the road is only in fair condition but with a brave attitude the road can quite easily be driven through also by a private car... From the end on the road there's a 400 m long trailless hike to the cave around the northern end on the lake.
Another - and easier for a car - way is to park the car on the side of a forest road at waypoint P2 and hike about 500 m to the cache on the eastern shore of the lake in trailless terrain. There's a weak trail from the forest road leading to the southern end on the lake starting from waypoint P3. The mossy rock surfaces on the eastern shore can be slippery in rainy weather so please be cautious!
Note! In summer time there are lot of nestling wild fowls in the area so geodogs must be leashed!!!
In winter the roads leading ner the cache are closed so the cache is available in snowless season only.
