There are many myths about The Kåla Pit for example how deep it is.
Some say it´s ten, others say twenty meters.
Even stories like there is an old bus lying at the bottom are told.
Who knows what´s down there...
The real story about the pit goes some decades back in time when
the dynamite spoke its own language. Gravel was taken. For some
reason the activities here stopped and the pit was filled with
groundwater/rain. Some small concrete remainings tell us that man
was here. Please include myths / facts in your logs so the story of
the Kåla pit can live furthermore.
Nowdays the place is very popular in the summers to swim at.
Therefore watch out for mugglers hiding in the bushes. :P The water
is clear and cool. If you dare you can jump from the cliffs, but be
careful.
When looking for the cache you´d better watch your steps so you
don´t fall in the water. Please put it back as it was.
