The name "Kvarnträsk" (Mill Lake) is usual here: Within 5 km from this point are 7 little lakes called Kvarnträsk! Some hundred years ago the mills were used for grinding flour or sawing, but now there are very little remnants to be seen. Mostly there are only some stones showing where the dam has been. The rest you can only imagine.
This is a typical place for a watermill, probably used only a short time in spring and autumn when the water in Kvarnträsk was high enough. The cache is at the old outlet, about eight meters to northwest from the new brook. The cache is within one meter southwest from the edge of the road.
The bus to Bromarv stops about one kilometer from this cache, where the road to Seuko begins. About 200 m further along the road you can rest at the rock beside the lake enjoing the nature. Song swan is often seen in this lake. (Mute swan in the sea bays near.)
Kvarnträsk = Myllyjärvi.
