Ehrs parken
Under sin tid som pensionerad byggmästare skapade Ernst Ehrs denna
grekiskinspirerade park på Grannasberget.
Han var mycket intresserad av arkitektur och bildkonst.
Speciellt fascinerad var han av antikens grekiska konst och mytologi.
Parken på Grannasberget låter oss uppleva ett annat kulturflöde,
vi får se odödliga konstverk som människor gjort för flera tusen år sedan-
utan sofistikierade hjälpmedel.
Monumentet längst ner har han själv skapat, sagokungen Minos symboler
tjurhornen och dubbelyxan.
Herkules finns här. Gudinnan Artemis finns också här, och som nästan
omärkligt ler mot oss, och har en pil i beredskap.
Eros och Orfeus sångmö Eurydice.
Ett orakel finns också här, taket pryds av Zeus symbol örnen.
Lejontrappan omges av två jaktnymfer.
Afrodite hittar ni också, samt tritoner.
Nedanför Grannasbergets tempel står Apollo staty,
och högst upp har skeppet "Tomrummet" strandat.

During his time as a retired building contractor, Ernst Ehrs created this
Greek-inspired park on Grannasberget.
He was very interested in the arts and architecture.
He was especially fascinated by the Greek art and mythology of the Antiquity.
The park on Grannasberget lets us experience a whole other cultural flow,
we get to see immortal pieces of art that people have made sevaral thousands
of years ago without any of today’s aids.
The monument that is furthest down he’s created himself,
the fairy tale king Minos’ symbols: the bull’s horns and the double axe.
On Grannasberget you can find Hercules.
The goddess Artemis is here too, with her almost unnoticeable smile,
and with an arrow ready.
Eros and Orpheus’ muse Eurydice, Aphrodite and tritonites.
Here you can also find an oracle, the ceiling is decorated with Zeus’ symbol: the eagle.
Two guardian nymphs flank the lion stairway.
Below the temple of Grannasberget you find the statue of Apollo,
and at the very top of Grannasberget the ship “Tomrummet” has ran ashore.
