Tiehallinnon Kuusamon välimatkamittauksen 0-piste on ns. neljän tien risteys aivan kaupungin keskustassa, torin vieressä.
Kätköltä on suora näköyhteys risteykseen ja välimatka alle 100 m. Kätkö on löydettävissä myös talvella.
Autolla pääsee aivan kätkön viereen.
Kätkö on pieni paikkarasia, sisällä kynä ja lokivihko.

The point where distances from and to Kuusamo are counted has local name "crossing of four roads". It lies quite next to Kuusamo market-place.
The cache is under 100 meters distance from the crossing. It should be able to find it also in the wintertime.
You can drive your car just beside the cache.
The cache is a small rubber repairing box. A logbook and a pencil in it.
