The cache is located in the upper reaches of the Cheesden Brook,near the base of a waterfall. Every so often there are caches that require a bit more effort from the individual to find the cache.This cache is one of those.
The cache is located is an upland moorland area, one which has steep elevation changes, boggy terrain and rocky outcrops / cliffs in places. You should also go prepared for an upland area, wearing footwear which has a good grip and is also waterproof as you may get your feet wet.
THERE IS NO DIRECT ROUTE TO THE CACHE, INDEED IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECT ROUTE - YOU RUN THE RISK OF FALLING DOWN THE WATERFALL OR A STEEP SLOPE.
DO NOT TRY AND GET TO THE CACHE FROM ABOVE IT.
ONLY APPROACH THE CACHE FROM ALONG THE STREAM BED.
To get to the cache you would be best to go to Waypoint 1. It is located on moorland on the northern side of the stream. From Waypoint 1 carefully descend the slope (It is steep in places so be careful) until you get to Waypoint 2 (the stream).
Now you need to make your way along the stream bed to near the base of the waterfall and the cache. The rock can be slippy, so please go slowly and watch your footing. I found it helpful to hold onto the vegetation in the stream bank. A walking pole or stick would be a good idea. You will be walking through water so you may get wet feet. Once near the base of the waterfall it shouldn't be difficult to find the cache. When you have found it, then you need to return the way that you came.
