Hyypiä Lookout tower - part of a series Kiihtelysvaara familiar.

Hyypiän näkötorni löytyy Kiihtelysvaarasta Hyypiän tien varresta Raatevaaran kylältä. Täältä voit katsella upeita Pohjois-Karjalaisia - Kiihtelysvaaralaisia maisemia.
100 metriä näkötornilta löytyy autolle parkkipaikka, jonka läheisyydessä on laavu ja nuotiopaikka. Lähistöllä on myös merkitty kaivo, jonka vesi on käyttökelpoista.
Parkkipaikalta lähtee myös Raatevaaran luontopolku, joka menee näkötornin vieritse. Lähes puolet matkasta parkkipaikalta tornille on jyrkähköä nousua.
TÄLLÄ HETKELLÄ TORNIIN NOUSU EI OLE SALLITTU ! TORNI ON HEIKOHKOSSA KUNNOSSA ELI AVAINTA EI OLE SAATAVILLA. TÄLLAISEN VIESTIN SAIN KYLÄPÄÄLLIKÖLTÄ !!!!!!
Raatevaaran kylä
Eteläisten kylien - yhtenä aktiivisempana Raatevaara -aktiivisuus on näkynyt useissa tilanteissa, Kiihtelysvaara maine Tattikarnevaalien pitopaikkana on tunnettu jo ulkomailla saakka. Lisäksi kylätoiminnassa tarvittavaa talkoohenkeä on kylissä vaikka muille jakaa.
Herkkutatin MM-kisat
Herkkutatin keräämisen maailmanmestaruuskisat, MM-TATTI pidettiin ensimmäisen kerran elokuussa 2008 Joensuun Kiihtelysvaarassa. Tällöin kisoissa oli yksilösarja. Vuonna 2009 yksilösarjan lisäksi mukana oli joukkuesarja ja vuoden 2010 kisoissa oli kolme sarjaa; yksilö-, joukkue ja nuorisosarja (alle 18-vuotiaille).
Kisoissa kilpaillaan siitä, kuka kerää eniten I ja II luokan herkkutatteja. Kilpailuaika on kaksi tuntia. Kolmosluokan tatteja tai muita sieniä ei hyväksytä. Kilpailualue pysyy visusti salaisuutena lähtöhetkeen saakka. Järjestäjät huolehtivat kuljetuksesta kilpailualueelle ja takaisin kisakeskukseen. Kisakeskuksena toimii Raatevaaran kylätalo, jossa perheelle riittää puhaa Tattikarnevaalien merkeissä.

Hyypiä Lookout tower can be found at Kiihtelysvaara, Hyypiä the village called Raatevaara. Here you can view the spectacular Northern Karelian - Kiihtelysvaaralaisia ??landscapes.
100 meters from the scenic lookout tower can be found the car park which is near the shelter and campfire. There is also marked with a well, where the water is usable.
From parking area starts the Raatevaara- naturetrail, which goes beside the tower. Nearly half of the distance from the parking to the tower is steep rise.
If you want to get up in the tower, call to the mobilephone number Lepikoff, which is in the logbook! It is worth getting up to look at the amazing scenery!
Raatevaaran village
