Geocache Description:

Tämä kätkö esittelee sinulle Kuorevaaran kylän.

This cache presents to you the village of Kuorevaara.

Kylä sijaitsee osiltaan Höytiäisen rannalla, joten siellä on runsaasti kesämökkiasukkaita. Kylälle myös rakennetaan uudisrakennuksia ja siellä on toimiva koulu. Kylätoimikunta toimii aktiivisesti, oikeastaan on toiminut aktiivisesti jo kolmekymmentä vuotta. Kylä valittiin Suomen ensimmäiseksi Vuoden kyläksi vuonna 1985. Kylän vaaran päältä aukeaa upeat maisemat pohjoiseen Höytiäiselle ja jopa Kolille saakka sekä toiselta puolen vaaran lakea etelään Outokummun suuntaan. Parhaat maisemat ovat valitettavasti yksityisten talojen pihoista, joten sinne ei tämän kätkön puitteissa ole asiaa.
Kätkö on kahden pisteen multikätkö, jonka ykköspisteellä näet Vuoden kylä muistokiven. Loppukoordinaatit saat seuraavasti:

ABC = laske muistokivessä olevien sanojen kirjainten lukumäärä ja vähennä se luvusta 395
DEF = laske kivessä olevat numerot yhteen ja lisää saamasi summa lukuun 287.

This village is situated incompletely on the beach of Höytiäinen, so there are lot of summercottage inhabitants. In the village are also a lot of new livinghouses and there is an own school. The board of the village is active, as a matter of fact it has been active already thirty years. This village was chosen the Village of the Year in the year 1985, when this tradition in our country started. A part of the village is on the hill and from the top of the hill opens out beautiful scenes to the Höytiäinen lake and you can even see the Koli hills from there. From the other side of the top you can see Outokumpu city, the Viinijärvei lake and some other smaller lakes. Unfortunately the best scenes are opening out from the yards of private houses.
This cache is two steps multicache. On the given coordinates youl’l find the stone of the Village of the Year.

ABC = 395 - the number of the letters from the words on the stone
DEF = the summation of the numbers on the stone + 287
