This geocache is located by the path leading to the top of the Konttavaara. It's located on the easier area, that is not so hard and difficult than the part of the path just before the top (location is selected so that is suitable also for children caching with their parents).
Konttavaaran geokätkö sijaitsee Konttavaaralla, matkalla vaaran laelle. Kätkö ei edellytä laelle kiipeämistä ja se on sijoitettu helpohkolle osuudelle, joka ei ole vielä niin kivikkoinen ja jyrkkä kuin lyhyt loppuosuus ennen vaaran lakea. Alku on jyrkkää ja vaatii vähän kuntoa, mutta pian polku loivenee. Jos jatkat vaaran laelle, löydät nuotiopaikan sekä upeat näkymät koko Konttajärven yli. Suosittelen laelle kiipeämistä!
Ole varovainen kivikoissa, äläkä lähde yksin kätkölle! Etenkin märkänä jyrkkä polku voi olla vaarallinen.
Polku alkaa Rovanpääntieltä ja alku on merkitty punaisin nauhoin. Ojan yli menevät pienet pitkospuut.
This geocache is located by the path leading to the top of the Konttavaara. It's located on the easier area, that is not so hard and difficult than the part of the path just before the top (location is selected so that is suitable also for children caching with their parents). To find this cache you don't have to go to the top of the Konttavaara - but if you'll go there, you'll find an awesome view over the Konttajärvi village. Please be careful when seeking this, the stones are slippery when wet.
You'll find the beginning of the path by Rovanpääntie and the start is marked with red stripes and a small wooden ”bridge” leads over the trench.
