Ilvesjoki sijoittuu nimensä mukaisesti Ilvesjoen varteen, ja siten
kylän asutus on nauhamainen ja seuraa joen uomaa. Kylästä löytyy
vireää yritystoimintaa, kuten Pramian alkoholitehtaat ja Kauppilan
autohajottamo. Joen varrelta löytyy käytettävän niin vanhaa
vesivoimalaa kuin uudempia tuulivoimaloita. Itse joen varrelta
löytyy kauniita koskia ja rauhallisempia suvantoja.
Ilvesjoki is located along Ilves-river, which makes the
inhabitation of the village following the riverbanks. There are a
couple of factories in the village, like Pramia, which produces a
range of different kinds of liquirds, and Kauppila, which
demolishes old cars. Along the river you will find old hydro power
plant as well as newer wind power plants. Along the river there you
can also find beautiful rapids as well as peaceful
backwaters.
