A 0.7 litre snap and lock box, containing log book and a selection of swaps.
The cache is located in a remote location, pls be aware of the weather conditions and ensure adequate equipment accordingly. Pls follow pathways rather than taking direct lines as there are some steep drops around the area.
The cache is sited in the area around Waugh's Well and Foe Edge farm, a very popular route from several directions. On a clear day the views can be extensive. Quite a spectacular skyline, from left to right we start with Whittle Pike with its cross and wind turbines, next Holcombe Hill with Peel Tower, Winter Hill takes next place with it's TV masts standing tall, not quite as obvious Darwen Tower makes a slight impression. Much closer on the right Cowpe low with its prominent trig point, finally through the gap right of this the golf ball of Hambledon weather station is visible with Pendle Hill making for a splendid back drop.
