Geocache Description:

This is my third circular walk series based on using public footpaths and bridleways. The terrain is steeper and is guaranteed to get the unfit huffing and puffing in places. Many of the caches are harder to spot too, so expect the 'unexpected' and enjoy the scenery.

The caches are set up around a circular walk of approx. 2.2 miles.  489 feet above sea level at the highest point. After an initial level start the terrain is undulating and quite steep in places. Ideal for those who like to keep fit. You will need sturdy footwear.  It does involve climbing a number of styles. Dog walkers may find some of them difficult to negotiate. There can be times when the ground is muddy and slippery where the paths cross ploughed fields and pass through woods. It is not suitable for wheelchair users, people who have health issues or difficulty with mobility. The walk is on public footpaths, with one short piece of single track country lane.  Please keep on the designated footpaths and do not wander over private farmland.  I have chosen this route because it passes through a very picturesque area. These paths do not get a great deal of use other than by the MOD for training purposes.  I want to encourage people to use them more to ensure that they are kept clear and open for future generations to enjoy.

Exit the A260 by the garden centre in Swingfield. Signposted Swingfield Street and Lydden. After a few yards turn right into a narrow single track lane.  It is a bit pot holed. It will take you to Boyington Court Farm where there is off road parking for several vehicles, at the entrance of the bridleway into Reinden Wood. Please do not obstruct the bridleway it is used by horses and farm vehicles.

From where the tracks cross over, enter the open field in an easterly direction to the stile at N51 08.154 E001 10.537. Unless the field has been recently ploughed the track will be visible. The terrain becomes steeper after climbing the stile. I did intend to put a big cache here but realised that Mr & Mrs Rabbit would not appreciate it.

**CONGRATULATIONS!**
