Time for Tea

At the 2014 Kent Mega Event much fun was had by the locals of a local hostelry in watching cachers walking back and forth across the river carrying (although they didn't know it) chickens, foxes and grain. As many visitors to the 2015 Kent Mega had already found RubyShoos' The Farmer's Conundrum I provided this little puzzle in the same area. You may also like to find an area of grass near here to play a 2017 Wherigo Frogs II whose final location is within a short drive.

This Wherigo is a variant of the Tower of Hanoi puzzle and involves moving a teapot from the roadside bank to Teapot Island, and then making a cup of tea.

The teapot consists of three parts – the lid (top), the body (middle) and the teapot stand (bottom). You can only move the top piece at any location and they can only be put down at the Roadside, the Teapot Island, or on the Rest Stop halfway across the bridge. The pieces can only be put down in the right order - you can place the lid, body or stand directly on the location, the lid can sit on the body and the body on the stand, but the stand cannot be placed on the body or lid, and the body cannot be placed on the lid. If this happens everything disappears and you have to start again.

Most of the Wherigo can be undertaken by a wheelchair user, but the final collection and replacement of the cache would be difficult.

**************************************

The cache, a film can with a retrieval mechanism, is not at the given coordinates. To find the location of the cache you will need to undertake the Wherigo. If you have sorted out the logic of the moves then the main part of the Wherigo can be undertaken in about 5 minutes, but there is a walk of about 500m to the cache, due to proximity issues. If you haven’t done RubyShoos The Farmer’s Conundrum, then it would be worth undertaking that Wherigo before finding the cache.

This cartridge was created using Earwigo - many thanks to sTeamTraen for the development and maintenance of this great Wherigo creation tool.
