This cache takes you to the churches of Sipoo. The cache is small, and it is not covered by anything, so don't lift anything when searching it. Please leave it in the same place as it was.----Tämä kätkö vie sinut tutustumaan Sipoon kirkkoihin. Kätkö on pieni, eikä sitä ole peitetty, joten älä nosta mitään kätköä etsiessäsi. The Old Church of Sipoo, the Church of Saint Sigfrid was built in the 1450's. It differs from other Finnish medieval stone churches: the choir of the church has three aisles and the rest of the church has two. The church is used in the summer.
The Church of Sipoo, designed by Theodor Decker, built of red bricks mainly in Gothic Revival style, was consecrated in 1885. The inner part of the church was renovated in 2001 and it is now colored as originally planned by the architect.
The coordinates above are for the new Church. Count the number of square figures of the doors of the western side of the church. =>A. Then go about 300 meters eastward to the graveled walk between the church and the belfry. The number of the rows of the gravestones on the south side of the walk is B and the number of the rows on the north side is C.

Sipoon vanha kirkko eli Pyhän Sigfridin kirkko rakennettiin 1450-luvulla. Sen arkkitehtuuri eroaa muista Suomen keskiaikaisista kivikirkoista, koska sen kuori on rakennettu kolmilaivaiseksi, kun taas muu osa kirkosta on kaksilaivainen. Kirkkoa käytetään kesäisin.
Sipoon kirkko, joka on Theodor Deckerin suunnittelema, pääosin uusgoottilaista tyyliä edustava punatiilinen kirkko, vihittiin käyttöönsä vuonna 1885. Kirkon sisäosat kunnostettiin vuonna 2001 ja se on nyt väritykseltään jotakuinkin arkkitehdin alkuperäisen suunnitelman mukainen.
Annetut koordinaatit johtavat uudemman kirkon eteen. Laske sieltä länsisivun ovien neliönmuotoisten kuvioiden lukumäärä. => A. Siirry sitten noin kolmesataa metriä itään vanhan kirkon ja kellotapulin väliselle käytävälle. Käytävän eteläpuolella on B riviä hautakiviä ja pohjoispuolella C riviä.
