Voit mennä kätkölle haluamaasi reittiä, mutta suosittelen
aloittamaan pisteestä N60° 35.810, E24° 48.202. Kyseisen pisteen
lähellä on parkkipaikkoja, joihin voit pysäköidä autosi. Älä
kuitenkaan jätä autoasi punaisen rakennuksen edustalle (alue on
tarkoitettu koulun omien autojen käyttöön), vaan aja hiukan ylemmäs
ja käänny vasemmalle rakennuksen sivustalle.
Reitti kulkee Vantaanjokea pitkin. Poluilta ei tarvitse poiketa
kuin noin 10 metriä ennen kätköpaikkaa. Polut ovat helppokulkuisia,
mutta eivät kuitenkaan lastenrattaiden
tai pyörätuolin mentäviä. Keväällä ja syksyllä lienee parasta
jättää parhaat kengät kotiin ja ottaa kumisaappaat matkaan. Maasto
on melko kuraista märällä kelillä.
Polun varrella olevat grillikatokset ovat maaseutuopiston
omaisuutta eikä niitä ikävä kyllä saa käyttää ilman lupaa
(käyttölupaa voi kysyä opiston toimistolta).
Kesäisin opiston lehmät ovat kulkijoiden ilona laitumilla.
Aloituspisteen lähettyvillä on myös ankkalampi, jossa kesällä
uiskentelee sorsia.
Kätkö on helpohkossa piilossa, mutta silti melko hyvin
suojattuna ulkopuolisten katseilta.
Huomioi myös, että alueen läpi kulkee rautatie. Jos aloitat
suosittelemastani aloituspisteestä, et takuuvarmasti joudu
tekemisiin junien taikka kiskojen kanssa. Päätiellä on kunnollinen
ja turvallinen kiskojen ylityspaikka valoineen ja puomeineen.

You can go to the cache via whatever route you want, but I
suggest starting from point N60° 35.819, E24° 48.202. There are
parking places nearby the given coordinates. Please
don't leave your car in front of the red building (teachers park
their cars there), but drive a little bit further and turn to the
left (on the right side of the building).
The route circles around Vantaanjoki River. You don't have to
leave the trails until about 10 meters before the place where the
cache is hidden. The paths are easy to walk
on, but you unfortunately can't go there with a child carriage or a
wheel chair. It is also best to leave your good shoes at home
during spring and autumn. The terrain is
pretty muddy when it is wet outside.
There are some barbeque places in the area. They belong to the
school and it is not allowed to use them without permission. If you
would be interested in using them, please
contact the school office for more information.
There are cows on the fields in summer. You can also see some
ducks nearby the starting point.
The cache is hidden in quite an obvious place, though it is
pretty well protected from geomuggles.
Please note that there is a railroad going through the area. If
you start from the point I suggested, you don't have to worry about
trains. There is a good and safe crossing point on the main road
(both for cars and pedestrians).
