Keminmaa has two churches side by side, the older and the newer one. The coordinates above refer to the grounds of the old church.
The fame of the old church is mostly based on the Lutheran priest who was a vicar of Kemi church during the Thirty Years War. The old suburban church of Keminmaa is one of Northern Finland's most popular tourist attractions. It's open during the summer season and there are services held at least once a week when it's warm enough.
The Old Church (GCJ510) is a holiday cache maintained by polarit where necessary. This geocache is the first placed in Keminmaa district. Hide the container well and close the lid properly (release air from one corner while doing it). The cache log is a grey A7 sized book, so feel free to write and draw on it as much as You like.
