This cache is located near road 78 about 55 km:s east from Rovaniemi. The place has memorial for The War of Lappland and especially for battle of Ylimaa (Ylimaan taistelu).
You can park your car at:

and walk the to the cache site on marked path (path's name is Taistelujen polku) which starts near the info board.
There is a lot of information about the Battle of Ylimaa on the way to cache on bulletin boards. Very interesting stories - non-fiction ones about the battle and the progress of it, sadly the information is available only in Finnish.
[FIN] Ylimaan taistelu Lapin Sodassa käytiin 7-9.10.1944. Vastakkain olivat eversti Schulerin johtama Vuoristojääkärirykmentti 218 ja eversti Nordgrenin johtama panssari divisioonan jääkäriprikaati.
