The given coordinates point to a villa, which is probably the best known building in Oulunkylä. It was first built in 1882 to serve as a spa. 10 years later it was bought by Mrs. Maexmontan. Sadly, the original building burnt down some years later and it had to be reconstructed in 1897.From early 20th century until the World War I, the building was used as a restaurant. It had to be closed in the 1920's, when it wasn't allowed to serve spirits anymore. Before the city of Helsinki bought the house in 1979, the villa was inhabited by tenants.The house had a second fire in 1984, but this time it didn't get destroyed. Instead, it got a new host. "Oulunkylä Pop & Jazz Konservatorio" moved in and rented the villa from 1985 until 1995. Lots of famous Finnish musicians attended the school. Nowadays it is reserved for free public use. It is possible to rent parts of the premises for private events.To get the coordinates to the actual cache location, take a look at the balcony on the second floor. Make sure that the fountains are straight behind your back, then you are looking at the right balcony. Count the vertical pillars that hold the balcony roof. Don't include those touching the wall.
N60° 13.xxx, E024° 58.yyy
xxx = (the number of pillars * 80) - 6
yyy = (the number of pillars * 20) + 1
Watch out for geomuggles, though they shouldn't be a terrible pain here. Also, note down the hint word that is written on the lid of the cache.
Here are some of the key words in Finnish for finding the cache:
balcony = parveke
pillar = pilari
vertical = pystysuora
fountain = suihkulähde
The cache has a new hide since April 29th. It is not a very clever one, the area doesn't offer many hiding possibilities. It should be easy to find this! :)
Public transportation to the location: busses 52/A, 64, 65A & 550, trains I & K (Oulunkylä station).
