Varvisaaressa on vanhaa viime vuosisadan alun huvila-asutusta.
On the Varvisaari island there's old villas from the beginning of
the previous century.
Varvisaareen johtaa ponttoonisilta Rönön saaresta. Siltaa käytetään
myös huvivenelaiturina. Ponttoonisilta oli ennen käytössä mantereen
ja Rönönsaaren välillä, kunnes uusi silta valmistui ja vanha
ponttoonisilta otettiin nykyiseen käyttöönsä.
Old floating bridge goes from the Rönö island to the Varvisaari
island. The bridge is also used as a pier for small boats. The old
floating bridge was used earlier between the mainland and the Rönö
island and was moved to the current location when the new bridge
was built.
