My Father never proclaimed to know them but he lived and worked in
the same areas that they called there manor. My father was a tally
man and worked for G.U.S and Blundles during the sixties later he
went on to run his own money lending firm. Later he co/founded the
company called O.T.V which is still running today. Sadly my father
died 10 years ago and with him all the tales of the east end. The
places I have visited in setting these multi caches bring back many
memories of working with my dad in the east end.
I hope you enjoyed the sites of notoriety that I have taken you
too and spent a lot of time researching them for authenticity as
you would expect everyone claims it’s this pub or that club that
was part of the story of the Krays… Some of the places have gone so
where posible it's the next best thing.
By now you will have acquired all the coordinates from the
places that the multi caches have taken you too. I hope you have
enjoyed this multi cache it took me ages

On Tuesday October 24th 1933, at 8 a.m., Violet gave birth to twins
-- boys who would be christened Ronnie and Reggie. Reggie came into
the world first -- ten minutes ahead of Ronnie. They would grow up
to become, arguably, Britain's most famous and infamous gangsters.
Their rise to prominence was inextricably linked to their
birthplace and its legends and folklore. They were born in Stene

The first thing that stands out about the Blind Beggar pub on
the Mile End Road is the colour red. The ceiling is thickly coated
with a deep red paint, the walls are red and even the light bulbs
are red. This décor might sound a bit garish to look at, but it's
not the real reason that the pubs is now a tourist attraction - the
real reason for that is the Krays.
On March 9th 1966, Ronnie, Reggie and other members of their
firm were drinking in The Lion pub when they were informed that
Cornell was drinking in the Blind Beggar pub just down the
road.
At 8.30 that night, Ronnie and one of his associates walked into
the Blind Beggar, only to be met by a sarcastic greeting from big
George Cornell. Ronnie didn't hesitate as he pulled out a pistol
and shot Cornell three times in the head.

Jack the hat McVitie Evering road corner and Jenner Road here
you will find A,B and K
McVitie had been an associate of the twins for some time, and
although he never actually belonged to the Firm, he was used
regularly employed by the twins to commit various jobs for them.
Ronnie had paid McVitie in advance to kill Leslie Payne, whom he
believed was going to inform on him to the police. McVitie never
carried out the execution, but stupidly kept the money. And if that
wasn't dangerous enough, McVitie had the cheek to threaten several
bar owners who were under the protection of the Krays. McVitie was
riding for a fall, and on October 29th 1967, he was invited to a
party with some of his underworld associates and their families.
What McVitie didn't know was that the twins had arrived at the
party first and had spent an hour clearing away guests. When
McVitie walked in, Reggie put a gun to his head and pulled the
trigger. Fortunately for McVitie, the gun jammed, which caused
Ronnie to lose his temper in a most violent manner. A brief scuffle
ensued, and encouraged by more violent twin, Reggie threw down the
gun and turned on McVitie with a knife, eventually stabbing him
multiple times in the face, chest and stomach.

Parking can be found at N51.31.793 W000.00.911 this is a burger
take away so you could stop before your journey to Chingford The
best direction is from Mile End Station
E and F are here to be
found John McVitie was a tough, hard
man. He was better known as Jack 'The Hat' because he was
never ever seen without his trilby. He was losing his hair and
Couldn’t bare to let anyone see his bald patch. Rumor has it
that he Didn’t even take it off to have a bath! He could
handle himself in a scrap And wasn't afraid to speak his mind.
The problem was he was usually out Of his mind on drink or
drugs.
By 1967 Jack was a loud-mouthed drunk, he was not only dealing
in drugs but Taking them as well. He was getting arrogant and
abusive, threatening the Twins and causing trouble to many of their
friends. He caused some damage in Freddie Foreman's club in Balham
High road and he had to be thrown out.
Jack's body was wrapped in an eiderdown and bundled into the
back seat of a car. Tony Lambrianou dove it while his brother Chris
and Ronnie Bender followed. They had planned to take the body to
South London and dump it there so That the Richardson’s associates
would get the blame.
They Eventually left the body outside a church called St Mary's
on the south Side of the Rotherhithe tunnel. When the Twins heard
where they had left the body they went mad. The corpse was on the
doorstep of Freddie Foreman, a great friend and associate. Some
phone calls were made and the body was swiftly moved before it
could be found. It has never been found to this day. Freddie
Foreman, after many years, has admitted to helping in the disposal
of Jack's body and is probably the best qualified to point you in
the right direction.
So I can only speculate where his body is for the purpose of
this cache you can’t be expected to look in Scotland or a pig farm
in Essex. The same can be said if you had to look in Canvey Island.
So maybe he is in the cement of the Bow flyover?????????
You will need to walk around under the flyover which is okay
as there is crossing points for pedestrians but keep your dogs and
kids close by.
This is what's needed here; under the flyover are some lights
attached to the middle of the underside? How many are there?? That
gives you a two digit number.
Next how many pillars support the fly over?? That also gives you
a two digit answer.
Add the two numbers together =?? Your answer will be a two digit
number you only want the second number. This is the letter E…
Now in one corner of the flyover (still underneath) is a five
foot gray control box. There is a number on it.
?240-A-TV you need the first digit. This is the letter F

It was estimated that up to one hundred thousand people lined the
streets of the funeral cortege, crowds standing six deep along
Bethnall Green Road. “It’s an East End event said a woman. I think
they were a legend. The public liked them. They were
gangsters.
The Metropolitan Police Force were in attendance, manning the route
to maintain control, eight inspectors, twenty-six sergeants and one
hundred seventy officers taking to the streets to ensure public
safety. Police from six districts were called in on the mammoth
crowd control exercise along the nine-mile funeral procession from
the East End of London to the cemetery in Chingford, Essex.
Alongside them, almost 400 burly, sinister looking thugs in long
leather jackets or Crombie overcoats wearing red armbands and lapel
badges with the letters RFK (Reg Kray Funeral), provided a private
security guard for the procession. 18 limousines carried family and
friends, two being reserved solely for the huge collections of
flowers and wreaths. One, from actress Barbara Windsor said simply,
“With Love.” Some read, “Respect,” “Legend,” “Free at Last,” and
“Beloved.” But perhaps the most telling of all was “Reunited at
Last.”
On the back of ther mother and fathers grave stone is a code
number that the cemetery uses for line and plot and block
number
This is a five digit number followed by the letter B and then a
final number 8
(7)-(L)-(D)-(N)-(7)
this looks like 7.?.?.?.7./B.8
Now put it all together and look for the cache.
