[FI] Mikkelissä, Rantakylän Kallajärven tuntumassa on Maailman luonnon säätiön ja kunnan perustama perintömetsäalue. Korkeassa kallioseinämässä on useita luolia joista suurimpaan mahtuu jopa useita kymmeniä ihmisiä. Paikka onkin suosittu retkeilykohde ja partiolaisten leirinpitopaikka.
Koska luolilla käy runsaasti retkeilijöitä, kätkö ei ole sisällä luolassa eikä aivan luolien vieressä.
Gps-signaali on kätköpaikalla erittäin hyvä.
Kätkö on sinikantinen läpinäkyvä muovirasia. Kätköpaikalle pääsee helpoiten luolien eteläpuolelta kulkevaa polkua pitkin. Kätköpaikalta on hieno näköala Kallajärvelle.
Huomautus: Jyrkännettä lähinnä kulkeva polku on paikoitellen todella jyrkkä. Kätkö voi olla saavutettavissa myös talvella, riippuen lumen määrästä.
[EN] Near lake Kallajärvi in Mikkeli there is a ”heritage forest area” founded by the municipality and the world wildlife fund. There are several caves in a high rock cliff. Some of the caves can house even several dozens of people. They are a common place for camping, scouts and guides have also held camps at the caves.
Because of the campers and other visitors, the cache is not located inside or in front of the cave.
Gps-signal is very good at the cache.
Cache is a blue-transparent Rubbermaid box. The easiest way to reach the cache location is a pathway south from the caves.
Note: Some parts of the path closest to the cliff are very steep and can be dangerous when it is slippery. It may be a good idea to take a more southern route which isn’t nearly as steep. The cache may be reached and found in winter, if there is not too much snow.
