Minihiidenkirnut Traditional Cache

Kätkö esittelee Hiidenkirnut ja mukavan paikan nauttia luonnosta.Keskellä kaupungin kiireitä voit törmätä täällä helpostikin rusakkoon tai fasaaniin… ehkäpä jopa kettuun.

HKL:n bussit 80 ja 82 vievät sinut kävelymatkan päähän.
Autot voi pysäköidä mm. Roihuvuoren ostoskeskuksen parkkipaikalle.

Kätkölle pääsee myös pihojen kautta kulkien, mutta parhaiten se on saavutettavissa jos lähestyt sitä Marjaniemen siirtolapuutarhan suunnalta.

Keväisin kulku kätkölle on melko helppoa, mutta loppukesästä runsaat vadelma- ja nokkospensaikot saattavat vaikeuttaa kulkua. Syksyllä paikalla saattaa olla liukasta.

Probably the smallest cauldron in Helsinki is situated in Roihuvuori were locals dwell without the faintest idea what is “just on the other side of the hill”.

Cauldron is in a great place for outing close to the lovely Marjaniemen siirtolapuutarha
where many lovely cottages are situated. Here you you can easily come across with a rabbit or a pheasant … maybe even a fox.

Busses 80 and 82 take you with in walking distance from the cache.

If you arrive by car you can easily park your car at the Roihuvuori Curch.

Cache is easies to access if you approach it from the east.
During spring it is easy to access the cache. However at end of the summer the wild raspberries i.e. under growth might make it harder. Path to the cache might be slippery during the autumn.
