The cache is a brown box with white line. It was hidden under the roots of a double rowan, the stems being about 10 cm in diameter, but 18.10.2007 IT WAS MOVED about 1 m to north and 3 m down.
Solböle Forest Research Station (from 1926) is examinating i.a. how foreign trees can manage in southern Finland (Oak Region), effects of global warming, seeds and growth of different trees in different years. Around the station is an arboretum with many different species, information boards and nature trails. About one kilometer to the south from the station is a rockformation along a steep rockside called "Käringvikens grottor". The cache is in the southern part of that steep, near the open "entrance" to a small yard with about ten meters high steep above it. The double rowan and a little spruce are on cliffs above the cache, a big fallen dead spruce-stem lies in the north part of the yard. More cavelike formations are to be found a little bit more to the north. A small road is about 300 m to the east from the cache, but the compass route from it to the cache is not recommended.. It is difficult to get exact coordinates, so if you think the given coordinates should be corrected, please tell us better ones. Some bit off, near car road, there is a hut, "kåta/kota" for general use in daytime. Take wood with you if ypu want to put fire in it. Site about N 60 02,400' E 23 02,200*
