The cache is hidden in Asikkala, in a naturally beautiful
environment, with cliffs along a lakeshore. The relative terrain
and difficulty ratings of the cache are inversely proportional to
your height. If you are well over two metres you will have no
difficulties whatsoever in finding the cache. If you are shorter
than 170 cm, however, you may find yourself in need of some adroit
equipment or exceptional agility to reach the cache. The cache is
winter-proof and it might even be easier to find when there's snow
on the ground.
You can get to the cache by driving along Kopsuontie, then turn
to Vahteristontie, where you can park your car. I'm not sure if
this small road will be properly maintained in the winter, but from
Kopsuontie there's only some 800 metres to the cache on foot.
Unfortunately there aren't any paths leading towards the cache and
you'll have to tread on pathless forest for a while.
Tämä kätkö on piilotettu luonnonkauniiseen Asikkalaan,
rantakalliolle pienen järven rannalle. Kätkön suhteellinen maasto-
ja vaikeusluokitus on kääntäen verrannollinen pituuteesi. Jos olet
yli kaksimetrinen, sinulla ei ole minkäänlaisia vaikeuksia löytää
kätköä. Jos taas olet alle 170 cm, saattaa olla, että tarvitaan
jotain näppäriä apuvälineitä tai poikkeuksellista ketteryyttä
kätkölle pääsemiseksi. Kätkö on talvenkestävä ja se on ehkä jopa
helpompi löytää jos maassa on lunta.

Vahteristontielle, johon voit pysäköidä autosi. En ole varma
pidetäänkö tämä pikkutie avoimena talvisaikaan, mutta Kopsuontien
varresta on vain noin 800 metrin kävelymatka kätkölle.
Valitettavasti kätkön lähelle ei vie polkuja, joten joudut
kävelemään poluttomassa ryteikössä vähän matkaa.
