Bryan (Admin): Groundspeak received the following letter and archived the cache accordingly:

This is actually a law enforcement inquiry. My name is Sharon Whitaker.
I'm a Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Dallas, Tx. We were called to a park in Ovilla, Tx today to respond to a possible bomb chained to a tree in a park. We met the bomb squad and they proceeded to blow up a device that resembled a pipe bomb. When the device was blown, it turned out to be a geocache site. There was a small wooden disk in it that had your email address. From looking at your site I believe this cache belongs to: cotton pick'n cache
by zorro, goldelocks & weenantie. These individuals are not in any
trouble because obviously they did not intend to use this as a bomb. The problem is the way it looked. If you can contact these individuals, please advise them that this cache caused considerable disruption and required the bomb squad to respond from Dallas. Their cache is no longer there. Please strongly suggest to the individuals who participate in this sport that they NOT make their cache resemble any type of explosive device.

I am at home and would prefer that you not give them or anyone my home email address. My work email address is: SKWhitaker@dall.atf.treas.gov.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Geocache Description:

A small park in Ovilla, GPS may bounce around some due to tree cover, but still easy to find the bridge.

If you want to bring a lunch, set under tall shade trees, and look at a bit of history from when "Cotton Was King" then this is the place. Here remains of the original scale that weighed wagons loaded with cotton still exists, although it's seen much better days. Several signs post interesting facts about this area.

This is a two part cache,..On the North East bottom corner of the bridge in the small space where the guardrail meets walkway you will find a 35mm film canister hidden with leaves, inside are the coordinates to cache.

Best thing about this cache is easy access, you don't have to wade through poison oak & thorns to the stash. A small chain is attached to the cache to keep it from floating away when the creek overflows...please fasten the chain back when finnished.

Additional Hints (Encrypt)

Look under the fallen tree,....a plastic pipe 4"x 10" painted camo,..hard to see because of the weeds. Some have reported problems trying to open this container,..I think you find holding it down with one hand while unscrewing the end where chain is fastened (like a fruit jar lid) will work well for you.
