Whitby's Waterfront Traditional Geocache
littleyellow: We received a note from a fellow geocacher saying they could NOT find the cache. We went right after dinner today, sorry to say but it is NO longer there. Oh well...we will plant more caches in the nicer weather!!!

On the shores of Lake Ontario, is a nice easy walk to our first cache.
Our cache is in a blue and white Thermos drink container 10" high and 8" in diameter. You can park at N43 51.125 W078 53.895 From the parking lot take a walk along the paved walkway enjoying the scenery. This area is completely open so your GPS can be trusted.

This should be an easy find so you shouldn't need the hint, but one is included.

After walking about eight hundred meters you will come to a secluded path that will take you to a very large pond. If you pass R.C.D sign you have gone too far. Please keep hold of little ones near the end of the path. You are very close to our cache.
