Whistle Stop (Canterbury) Traditional Geocache
Hello Mrs: Called by with caching friends. We failed to find either of the 2 containers hidden in the garden. We decided a new cache in an alternative location would be the best option for this popular tourist attraction.

Situated in the picnic area beside the Glenmark Railway Station on the Weka Pass Railway Line.
The railway line and rolling stock have been privately owned and maintained by volunteers for many years. Train excursions are run between Waipara and Frog Rock through the Weka Pass at weekends throughout the year. This can be a fun day out for the family. Stoned Frog cache GCJC8Z is hidden near Frog Rock.
On excursion days the presence of muggles using the picnic tables will almost certainly mean the cache will be difficult to find. The cache can be reached from the edge of the lawn. There is no need to climb over the railway sleepers into the garden
The cache has been replaced with a camo painted 200ml sistema container 6 Apr 08. When hidden the contents were log book, stashnote, pencil, pencil sharpener and a selection of swaps.
