A simple earth-cache, easy to find and you will learn something of earth movement in the Netherlands.
Nederlands: In het Zuidoosten van Nederland bevindt zich een breuklijn in de ondergrond. Deze breuk is bekend onder de naam Peelrandbreuk. De peelrandbreuk scheidt het hooggelegen Peelhorst en de laaggelegen Centrale Slenk. Dit hoogteverschil is ontstaan door de verticale bewegingen van de aardkorst langs de breuk.
Om deze earth-cache te mogen loggen, ga naar de bovengenoemde coördinaten maak een foto van jezelf met GPS voor het infobord en stuur me een e-mail, hoeveel mm de relatieve verticale verschuiving van de korsten per jaar is.
English: In the Southeastern part of the Netherlands you will find a fracture-line in the earth's crust. This fracture-line is known as "Peelrandbreuk". The "peelrandbreuk" seperates the higher part "Peelhorst" and the lower part "Centrale Slenk" The difference in height is due to the fact of vertical movement of the earth's crust alone the fracture-line.
