Cache placed, in part, to introduce our wonderful Trail Around Midddlebury (TAM). For the uninitiated, reccomend parking on Morgan Horse Farm road, 0.8 mile north of the farm, at the TAM pulloff. Take trail to the river, and then activate your gps er. Closer parking is available at the Belden dam, accessed from rte.7 a little north of Middlebury (N44*03.167;W073*10.513).
Cache is ammo box containing assorted "bears", including a first finder's bear earings, (if wanted). Reasonable fitness required. For those coming from a distance, you might consider looking for Blackdog's Treasure, an excellent hunt along the way.
