Da tiderne var hårde – i begyndelsen af 19 hundretallet – brændte thyholmerne deres egne tegl.
De gamle skorstene er stadig et vartegn for den tid. Bygningerne er desværre forfaldne og bruges mest til læ for kreaturer på græs

In the early 20'th century – when times was hard – the locals burned there own bricks here. Those old chemnies are still reminding us of those times. The buildings are unfortuanally in disrepair and are used for shelter for grasing cattles.
