View the magestic Exploits River. The great Exploits reaches from
Red Indian Lake to the Bay of Exploits. Sadly, this was the
homeland of the extinct Beothucks. This cache is in an easy spot to
access, no more than 3 minutes hike from the TCH.
Park your car on the side of the TCH going west at the guard rail
that blocks the end of the old Redcliff Road. Hike up from
there.
The cache is a green painted koolaid container. At the time of
hiding it contained a notebook, pencil, canada pen, butterfly,
marbles, and several novelty erasers. The cache is hung about
knee-height (half metre) so should be accessable during the winter;
though, you may have to trudge through a bit of snow to reach it.
